Assessment of Practices in Integrating Environmental Education in the Teacher Education Program

The study aimed to assess the mainstreaming of environmental education in Teacher Education curriculum. It used descriptive research design using qualitative approaches. Data were gathered a rubric, documentary analysis, class observations, focus group discussion, and interview. Respondents informants consisted faculty-implementers, students, officials administrative personnel. Each different disciplines was observed by three observers. discussion involved 35 students informal interview randomly selected observers key persons implementation project. Three dimensions considered such as programmatic practices, organizational practices context-specific practices. Assessment reveals good terms needs assessment program design, governance, context specific instructional materials development, delivery lesson, interaction with assessment. Good serve enabling factors for successful Recommendations are provided sustain address those needing improvement.
